Best Reborn Doll is written for people who collect, dress and care for reborn dolls. We cover the accessories that come up again and again at doll shows and in collector groups: outfits sized for 20 to 22 inch newborn reborns, magnetic pacifiers and bottles, car seat carriers and strollers for outings, and gentle hair care for rooted and wig-style hair. Every piece is written from real use, including what is fiddly, what is overpriced and what we would skip.

Reborn Doll Safety

Reborn dolls are collectible art dolls, not toys for children under 3. Many accessories, including magnetic pacifiers and bottles, contain small, strong magnets. A swallowed magnet is a medical emergency, so keep these pieces away from small children and pets, and keep magnets away from anyone with a pacemaker or other implanted device.

Weighted bodies are usually filled with glass beads or poly pellets. Check seams regularly and retire a body that starts to leak. Doll carriers and strollers are sized for dolls only and must never be used for a real baby. Painted vinyl can fade, shine or soften in direct sun and heat, and rooted hair is easily damaged by hot water, heat tools and harsh brushing.
